Want to shoot fireworks? Search: "how to shoot fireworks" for tons of really good explanations, I am not going to try and beat them in technique...BUT, after you get those fireworks like everyone else does, try something different: place foreground in there, show context, light up the trees, try adding flash, use the reflections as an alternate exposure...anything! oh, and have fun.
