5 beds in 18 days

I really missed my bed on a recent work trip that allowed me to sample 3 different places to lay my nogin ...

I only slept in mine for a weekend...

...before heading out for another week away from it.

I am glad to be back.

On Wednesday, we got our first real winter storm.  Several inches by the end of the day.

This last weekend, at our Church's Leaders Retreat, I was able to get away for a while one morning to explore.  I was thankful that there was still a little color left on some of the trees; this may be last of the fall colors that I get to photograph.

This last weekend took Sarah and I out of town for our Church Leaders Retreat.  Fun was had on a night time hay-ride, getting lost heading to our bonfire, s'mores/mafia, games all night, mealtime chats lasting hours, enjoying the last days of 'warm weather' and forced fun in the form of Guesstures.

I think we did a little planning and oficial business in there somewhere....

I recently re-discovered these photos from several weeks back.  We (the photo group I am apart of) trekked along a bike path that paralleled a stream.  The idea was to see if we could get some colors as well as practice/learn some tripod techniques.
